The social project “See the Moment” was launched in September, initiated by the owners of the optical and medical center network “Treviso” in partnership with the Kherson Community Foundation “Zakhyst.”
The project aims to support students of the regional boarding school for children with hearing impairments. These children not only face health challenges but are also particularly socially vulnerable—many come from large families, single-parent households, or are raised by elderly grandparents. Some are internally displaced due to the ongoing conflict.
As part of the project, “Treviso” specialists will provide two students per month with a professional consultation from a pediatric ophthalmologist. Based on the diagnosis, the children will receive either prescription eyeglasses or hardware-based vision therapy. The amount allocated for each child is 1,800 UAH.
The project has started and is ongoing.
