How can we get Kherson residents interested in participating in civic activism?

Discussion on Engaging Kherson Residents in Civic Activism Held on November 19

On November 19, a discussion titled “How to Engage Kherson Residents in Civic Activism?” took place, featuring Larysa Polska, Chair of the Board of the Community Foundation of Kherson “Zakhyst”.

The discussion covered key topics, including:

  • Do Kherson residents participate in civic activism?
  • Are they willing to financially support civil society organizations?
  • When do they expect reforms?
  • Whom do they consider the source of power in the country?
  • Other related issues.

Participants also compared Kherson region’s indicators with data from the nationwide survey of the “Join In!” Program to better understand regional specifics.
