Every summer, we continue the valuable tradition of gathering together for the Youth Banks of Initiatives Conference. This year, we focused on a topic that deeply resonates with teenagers:
Who am I? What career path should I take? How can I be sure I’m making the right choice?
At 17, every decision can feel life-defining, and every mistake – irreversible. But growing up isn’t about a single right answer – it’s a daily journey of discovering who you are.
That’s why the theme of this year’s conference was:
“Build Yourself and Your Community.”
Young people from Chernivtsi, Odesa, Volyn, and other regions came together for:
career guidance sessions;
simulation games based on Yuliy Semenov’s methods;
reflective exercises to better understand themselves and their needs.
We were supported by psychologists and youth leaders – not to give “ready-made answers”, but to create a safe and open space for honest dialogue and self-reflection.
It was a time to be together –
to speak about what matters, share our struggles and successes, and feel the support of a community that cares.
