Recently, we gathered with local coordinators of the “Harvest Way” project for the annual conference to review achievements and plan for the upcoming year.
The first day focused on introductions and team-building. Coordinators from different communities exchanged experiences gained during the project and visited a local cheese-making farm in Khmelnytskyi region. There, we spoke with the family running the farm and saw how artisanal production can be not only a business but also a tourist attraction for the local community.
The second day was dedicated to community development. Participants discussed how “Harvest Way” can bring people together in their communities and how simple steps such as trainings, aid distribution, and joint events help engage residents in the life of their community. Together, we strategized, explored new ideas, and created plans to make the project even more useful and closer to the people.
