Sixth Round of the “Harvest Path” Project: 36 Participants Receive Financial Support
The “Harvest Path” project continues to support community members who strive to develop local gardening, provide food for their families, and build long-term food security. In its sixth round, the program provided financial assistance totaling 1,353,420 UAH to 36 participants from various communities.
What was supported?
As in previous rounds, the most requested items included:

motor cultivators and related attachments;
-
irrigation systems (drip irrigation, pumps, hoses);
-
greenhouses, tunnels, and materials for protected ground;

farming tools (including battery-powered pruners and cultivators).
Who receives the support?
Approximately 70% of the selected participants belong to vulnerable groups, and 75% of applications were submitted by women. This highlights the project’s strong social focus and relevance for local communities.
Two years of impact:

Over 150 individuals supported across 24 communities in Ukraine;

Total financial support provided: more than 5.7 million UAH;

Over 2,000 people have completed training in effective and ecological farming practices;

Active communities formed via Viber chats, where participants exchange knowledge and seek collective solutions.
Current challenges
Over 60% of applications cite an urgent need for irrigation systems. Drought remains one of the most pressing challenges to food security in the regions. Through the project, participants not only receive tools but also learn to apply ecological solutions and adapt their practices to climate realities.
The project is implemented with the support of Fondation de France and in cooperation with community foundationsthat coordinate and run the program at the local level.
