Join the competition for Local Activity Groups. Driving change in their communities!
The charitable foundation “Community Foundation RIDNYA” is launching a competition for initiative groups to take part in international cooperation with partners from the Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, and other Baltic countries.
Goal of the competition: to select 8 initiative groups (6 main and 2 reserve) that are ready to work according to the LAG (Local Activity Group) model — identifying key rural issues, planning community development collaboratively, and preparing projects to attract European funding.
A Local Activity Group (LAG) is a community-based group of 20–30 local residents representing local authorities, civil society, and businesses — ensuring balanced participation across sectors and geographic areas. A LAG can be created from an existing NGO or charity foundation already experienced in similar activities and can be transformed into a formal LAG.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Take part in trainings and exchanges with European LAGs
Receive mentorship and expert support
Join international trainings
Visit European countries to explore real-life LEADER/CLLD initiatives in action
Application period: June 15–25, 2025
Results announcement: by June 30, 2025
