From April 9 to 12, representatives of the Community Development Foundation team carried out a study tour to the Lviv region with the goal of engaging with civil society organizations and community foundations.
During three active days, they met with key staff members and organization members in three cities. They exchanged experiences and ideas to strengthen collaboration with partners in pursuit of their organization’s mission.
- In Stryi, the team visited the new premises of the multifunctional center of the Charitable Foundation “Community Foundation RIDNYA.” They learned about the foundation’s areas of activity and discovered effective tools used to maintain the sustainability of their work.
- In Novoyavorivsk, they spoke with representatives of the NGO Hostynets. Thanks to them, they saw a collection of unique embroidery and traditional Ukrainian clothing. They discussed the specifics of their projects, youth engagement, and support for national identity through the preservation of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.
- In Lviv, they visited the office of the Charitable Organization Ukrainian Educational Platform. They familiarized themselves with the structure and organization of its workflows, showing interest in the automation and improvement of routine tasks that help sustain efficiency and functionality during organizational growth, and that encourage expansion of activities. Together with the platform’s staff, they took part in a charity workshop — making basky for the upcoming holidays.
At each meeting, they gained insights into the uniqueness and diversity of their Lviv region colleagues’ approaches and shared their own experience in return. After all, everyone has plans for introducing new directions, supporting sustainability, and ensuring further development.
