“BezMezh” Space in Kramatorsk: Two Years of Community Support in a Frontline City
“BezMezh” is the only open public space in Kramatorsk where events for local residents have been held over the past two years.
At a time when the city is under constant threat, the space has become a place of support and safety. Here, people could connect, take a break from ongoing stress, and simply be among those who understand their experience.
What Has Been Achieved
During the operation of the “BezMezh” space:
- 45 cultural events were held
- 12 training sessions were conducted
- 170 psychosocial support activities took place
- 75 individual sessions with a psychologist were provided
- 59 creative workshops were organized
Activities and Engagement
The space also hosted:
- acting classes
- ballroom dancing sessions
- board games
- a theatre studio
These activities helped create a sense of belonging, resilience, and emotional support for residents of the community.
