Results of the “Harvest Path” Project: Supporting Households and Community Development

We are sharing the results of the latest iteration of the “Harvest Path” project, aimed at supporting families and promoting sustainable agriculture in Ukraine.

Over three years of implementation, we have significantly expanded the project’s geographic reach, covered new regions, and supported even more families striving to develop their households despite the challenges of war.

Key Project Results

  • 60 participants supported
  • UAH 2,060,664 — total amount of assistance provided

Sometimes, just one greenhouse or a few essential tools can enable a family to:

  • provide themselves with fresh vegetables
  • prepare food supplies for winter
  • generate additional income
  • support their local communities

Stories of Project Participants

“We are an internally displaced family. We have cultivated 1,200 square meters of land in the Chernihiv region, but late springs, strong winds, and frosts repeatedly destroy our efforts. Despite accomplishing everything on our own and supporting parents with disabilities, growing crops in open ground remains nearly impossible. That is why a reinforced greenhouse has become our chance for a stable harvest and will allow us to provide vegetables for the whole family. We plan to sell the surplus to have additional income for our parents’ medical care”

– Mrs. Karina

“We are two families, displaced by the war, relocated to a new place and received 1,200 square meters of land, starting their lives from scratch. Despite the difficult soil and lack of equipment, they managed to cultivate part of the plot by hand and grow their first harvest. But to fully work the land and provide for their families, they urgently need a motor cultivator – a tool that will help them farm efficiently and provide for their families.

– Mrs. Tetiana

The project is implemented with the support of Robert Bosch Stiftung.
