We are looking for an Event Manager!
The National Network for the Development of Local Philanthropy (Philanthropists) is a network organization that unites community foundations in Ukraine to promote local philanthropy and volunteering, engage residents, and support civic initiatives.
The Event Manager is responsible for organizing the organization’s online and offline events, coordinating business trips, and providing administrative support to the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and planning events together with the Project Manager
- Selecting venues and contracting service providers
- Managing event budgets
- Handling event documentation, logistics, and reporting
- Organizing technical support for events
- Purchasing or coordinating ticket purchases and selecting travel routes for team members
- Arranging accommodation and catering
- Organizing business trips for the team
- Coordinating training sessions for the team
- Overseeing the production of branded materials and ensuring quality control
- Providing administrative support to the office
The Event Manager is actively involved in event planning and execution, suggesting improvements for better event experiences, brand development, and reputation building.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Experience in organizing online and offline events
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to delegate tasks and oversee different stages of event planning
- Experience in organizing logistics within Ukraine and abroad
- Experience working with contractors
- Strong document management skills
- Ability to anticipate and address risks promptly
- Proficiency in event management tools (Xtiles, Trello, Jira), Google Drive, Excel, etc.
- Willingness to travel for business trips across Ukraine and abroad when needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- English proficiency
- Experience working in NGOs or charitable organizations
- Availability to visit the office in Kyiv several days a week
