Every day, civilians in Kherson are injured as a result of attacks. In the critical minutes before an ambulance arrives, ordinary residents can save lives if they know how to stop severe bleeding. The Kherson Community Foundation “Zakhyst,” together with its partner, the NGO “Kherson League of Social Workers,” conducts regular first-aid training sessions for city residents. Participants learn how to respond appropriately in emergencies, including applying tourniquets to stop bleeding.
The goal of the project is to purchase 100 tourniquets and provide them to those Kherson residents who have completed the training. This will enable them to act quickly and effectively in emergencies, saving the lives of their fellow community members.
